Taking into consideration Chelsea’s underwhelming performance under Conte’s leadership, no one would have expected them to do so well this Premier League season. The Blues have had an incredibly impressive opening, and to their fans’ delight, have managed to snatch a place in the top four. If they keep up their current form, it is very likely that they will stay up there. The team, in no small extent, owe their success to none other than Ballon d'Or nominee Eden Hazard.

There are a handful of players in the realm of modern football that are currently as consistent as Chelsea’s Eden Hazard. He could very easily bag the player of the month award this September. He is in peak form, and his recent performance against Liverpool is a testament to that. His spectacular goal at Anfield resulted in the Reds being knocked out of the Carabao Cup and has since brought Eden Hazard much deserved much deserved praise and attention. Eden Hazard has also contributed to Chelsea’s unbeaten streak in the Europa League. Since the start of his career with them in 2012, he has racked up more than 95 goals overall.
