FA Cup (The Football Association Challenge Cup) 2019 - 2020

Since the Emirates sponsors it, so it is referred to as the Emirates FA cup. The Football Association Cup is one of the world-famous competitions in football. The final contest generally takes place at the end of the English football calendar, and it is a significant event held at the famous Wembley Stadium.

 

Proficient Norms

The competing teams which are neither the members of the Premier League nor the members of the English Football league will be competing in the qualifying rounds to obtain one place out of the other thirty-two available homes in the First Round Proper. The competition for qualifying will be commenced along with the Extra Preliminary round which would be held on 10th August on 2019. The final qualifying round will be held during the weekend of 19th October 2019.

 

Details of the FA Cup

As a result of the first two draws in both the competitions the clubs are planning about their campaign that would be taking place at Wembley for Non - League Finals Day in May. According to the history of the Season's Finale at the National Finale, Chertsey Town was seen to lift the Vase before the AFC Flyde could become the Trophy winners. There are not less than Six Hundred Sixty-Seven Clubs of the National League System who had entered in the Vase at the current season, and this is where the competition initiates its progress in the first round of Proficient norms which would be commencing on a Saturday , 31st August scheduled with two hundred and sixty eight ties around the country . The winners are then supposed to proceed towards the second round which would be held on 14th September. The competing clubs from step 1 -4 consists of approximately 296 teams fighting for the trophy this season. There are Twenty Eight ties in the Extra Preliminary round which would be held on Saturday, 28th September.

 

Entrance Criteria for the FA Cup

For the Clubs to be accepted for this criteria, they have to conform to the set standards fully. Especially clubs that are in the Premier League, Football League and in Steps 1-5 of the FA National League System. The competition would commence based on pre-determined points of clubs per game. The clubs should either participate in the FA Trophy or the FA Vase Competition. According to the rules of the FA Trophy, entry of such clubs are restricted who are competing in the first four steps of the FA National League System until and unless they are abiding by the minimum set standards. Entry in the participation of the FA Vase is restricted for the clubs competing in the fifth to the seventh step of the FA National League System only after consistently abiding by its set standards.
